Creating valuable products from waste plastics - Recycling Lab System.

Contributing to resource circulation and the creation of high-quality products. Providing a compact repolymerization system.

Plastic products are used in a wide variety of applications due to their low cost and the ability for mass production; however, the disposal of these products after use has become a global environmental issue. Additionally, manufacturers face the "waste disposal problem." In Japan, more than half of waste plastics (Note 1) are effectively utilized by recovering the thermal energy generated during incineration (thermal recycling), but from the perspective of "resource circulation," it is recommended to aim for material recycling and other methods. As one of the few pellet-type 3D printer manufacturers in Japan, S.Lab has considered how to address these issues by recycling waste plastics through a process of 1. crushing (crusher), 2. extrusion (extruder), and 3. cutting (pelletizer) to create re-pelletized material. We have developed a compact system that provides new added value by "shaping with a pellet-type 3D printer." This system has been named the 'Recycling Lab System' and we have begun manufacturing and selling it. *The standard specifications of the equipment can be viewed by downloading the catalog. *Examples of re-pelletized waste plastics that have been shaped can be viewed through external links.
